SYNC DAW TO MPC ERM MULTICLOCK WINDOWS
And by the way, this is happening without anything playing from the DAW, I have an empty project on and running a 2019 system with i7 8700k with DDR4 16GB RAM, Nvme SSD and Windows 10.Ģ. Obviously i could solve this problem by always using the ERM's own clock, but that takes away a lot of useful features and I lose all the sync to my DAW. What do you think might be causing just the CR to skip a beat and get out of time when the Metropolis and Alpha Base stay on time, but only while the ERM is being fed timecode from the DAW? I am really baffled. Now, if i was to switch the Clock Source in the ERM to '' Internal'' and press play (so the clock is generated by the ERM), all 3 machines will stay and play on time without any issues. Usually, 30 to 45 seconds after i press play in my DAW, the Alpha Bass and Metropolis / ADM06 will stay on time but the CR, will skip a beat and go completely out of time. I am taking the Clock and Reset outputs of the ERM into the inputs of both the Metropolis and the Circadian Rhythms / AMD 06 and i also have a drum pattern playing in the Alpha Bass. The first & main problem i have is when i select Clock Source '' Audio Input'' from the ERM Menu, so to slave the ERM (and all my gear) to my DAW via an audio pulse.

Jomox Alpha Baseįor comparison, i am also going to discuss my Metropolis & ADM06 and how they are handling the clock fed by the ERM Multiclock.ġ. The 4 outputs of the ERM Multiclock are driving: 1.Eurorack / 2. Just wanted to share this with you, in case somebody else has encountered the same problem/problems and in hope of finding a solution, that will also be useful for other users in the future.īefore i start, let me say that i have decided to post after having spend an awful lot of time exploring Tip Top's Circadian Rhythms and how i can make it sync with the rest of my system, which is clocked by an ERM Multiclock.
